Hobart, get ready! This year, the Estia Greek Festival is turning up the flavour, music, and vibes across two days. Whether you’re craving a laid-back summer evening or a lively cultural celebration, we’ve got you covered.

Day 1: Saturday 1 Feb, 3–9pm

  • Soak up the summer vibes with a relaxed evening of Greek food, chill beats, and great company. Enjoy freshly cooked gyros, souvlaki, and Greek sweets as DJs spin tracks perfect for a warm Hobart night. No live dancing or traditional music – just pure, laid-back fun.

Day 2: Sunday 2 Feb, 11am–4pm

  • Dive into the full festival experience! This is your day for live Greek music, traditional dancing by the Hellenic Dancers, and vibrant cultural celebrations. Enjoy all the festival classics – the food, the music, the dancing – and experience the spirit of Greek community and culture.

From traditional folk tunes to modern bouzouki beats, Sunday’s got the sounds that make Greek culture unforgettable.

Authentic Greek Eats – More Is Always More
Whether you’re a loukoumades lover or a souvlaki superfan, your taste buds are in for a treat. Expect freshly grilled favourites, barbecue octopus, and sweet delights made with love – because there’s no such thing as “too much food.”

Traditional Greek Dancing – Sunday Only
On Sunday, watch the Hellenic Dancers bring Greek tradition to life with vibrant moves and infectious energy. Dancing is part of every Greek celebration, and we’ll be expecting you to join in!
